After... Ngô definitely has an ax to grind with the Antifa kids and don't blame him.

he’s found a niche selling outrage porn and “journalism” to people looking for evidence of a narrative, that’s for sure. guess all it takes to be a famous twitter journo these days is to get hit by a milkshake and a dildo.

how come you don’t post the dumb shit the proud boy nerds engage in? this confrontation started after they set up shop in a kmart parking lot, set off smoke bombs, used bear spray on and shot at people, and called people faggots while assaulting them. what gives?

here they are flipping flipping an accessible van:

        • The white supremacists are "all in for Glenn" in the VA governor race...

          But they are democrats:

The Democratic party is the party of the KKK. But the Dem candidate in the VA governor race must be so bad they are voting for the GOP'er?

          • The notorious Lincoln Project took the blame for this. I'm not sure I buy it as the people posing were VA democratic party employees. But it doesn't matter. The Lincon Project just keeps on scamming people (mostly dems) and lining their pockets. This stunt may actually cost Dems more than money.

I've been paying attention to the VA gov race over the last couple of weeks. The horse race is fascinating. I don't know much about the GOP candidate, he very well may be awful, but the utter incompetence of the democratic campaign has been astounding.

            • What a whiner.

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

              • I am guessing it was the liberal ones given the lefties are peaceful in their protests.

                    • I thought this was interesting. There are various incarnations of lists of attributes of fascism and rising fascism. This list I saw on Swedish political website. It looks like it was posted in 2014.

Europe used to have a bigger problem with fascism. Now it's very much on the rise throughout that continent and a lot of those extreme parties are bankrolled by Russians, some of openly.

                      Here are the warning signs

                      1.Exuberant Nationalist

                      2. Enemies identified

                      3. Rights disappear

                      4. Secrecy Demanded

                      5. Military glorified

                      6. Corporations shielded

                      7. Corruption unchecked

                      8. Media controlled

                      9. Rampant sexism

                      10. Intellectual bullying

                      11. Militarized Police

                      12. Elections stolen

                      https://polimasaren.se/12-warning-signs-of-fascism/

You can read detailed explanations on the website.

ill further elaborate why I think many of these signs are relevant to us now.

                      • Yeah, something needs to be done about this general lawlessness going on in American cities over the last few years (during the Biden administration)... It is driving up my damn insurance premiums, man.

“The widespread rioting caused by groups like BLM and Antifa in 2020 caused $100 billion in damages — a massive financial loss for the insurance industry. Likewise, general lawlessness in American cities over the last several years, and the refusal of government authorities to protect private property has resulted in more damages, more claims and ultimately, higher premiums,” Antoni said.
                        [...]
Antoni answered that since these factors arise out of government actions, it’s hard to separate them, but he estimated about 90% of the increased insurance premiums over the last several years were attributed to a failure to respond to criminal activity, regulatory costs, and inflation. Inflation, he noted, was responsible for about 75% of the increased costs.

I respect the right of folks that believe they need to riot... Maybe the government could take them to some place to do their rioting like Gitmo and let them riot all they want. Then just leave them there.

Your provided quote refers to the billions of dollars in damage caused in the 2020 riots and you blame the Biden Administration for that?

I mean it's progress. At least he put up a direct quote so we could see the obvious fallacy, instead of just a link.

Do you have evidence for antifa's involvement? What does that mean and how is it measured? I ask because that has become such a buzzword for being a left wing peer of right wing extemists, when it isn't exactly that.

It's not a typical organization with member roles or formalized leadership.

They have often been invoked in conspiracy theories. Right wing groups set up fake websites pretending to be antifa and said they were preparing to invade neighborhoods like an army.

People who identify as antifa aren't prone to shoot up mosques or synagogues. That doesn't mean there haven't been leftists who done awful things but the frequency and scale pale in conspiracy to J6ers and Qanon and the myriad of associated groups. Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, Patriot Front, 3 percenters etc.

I know there were riots, and I know people who fit these descriptions were part of it but I don't know they've uncovered any organized evidence.

                              Same for BLM.

Portland was a hotspot of violence. But Portland was not typical of the every US city. There has been legit right vs left violence going back to the 80s. An Ethiopian immigrant was bludgeoned to death by baseball bats. That resulted in a lawsuit that bankrupted specific racists groups including the White Aryan Resistance. I met a guy who claimed to take part in that murder. It was gross, he was proud of it.

Riots and destruction aren't good. But antifa and BLM don't have mandates for ending democracy. Antifa, in particular is not allegiant to democrats. Anyone who asserts that doesn't know what they are talking about.

The far left has often despised liberals as being insincere and not radical enough.

That used to be true of Republicans and white nationalists but those groups have been enfranchised and embraced by the GOP.

I don't trust your statement without some evidence. The FBI and other federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies have come to a conclusion that Right wing domestic terrorism is one of the most serious threats. Unlike the far right, anarchists types have not made a concerted effort to infiltrate the military and law enforcement. It seems like deflection, especially in this thread.

It is also normal to be concerned about both types of extremists. This seems like a deflection.

And why the fuck are you advocating for rioters the be sent to GITMO. That is the least libertarian thing I've heard in quite awhile. After we send the anarchist agitators, we can send trans people, than anyone who identifies as queer. Then let's for anyone who leans far left. Good job Ted!
Libertarians used to be proud of supporting both the ACLU and NRA because they saw them as protecting freedoms. You are pro authoritarian. Your posts, may be unintentionally pro Putin and pro Russian imperialism. But consistently they are. The irony being he is the guy who reveres communists.

He is bffs with North Korea and China.

Essentially you align with biggest current celebrator of Stalin on the planet more than anyone else who posts here.

You bitch about commies but it is never directed toward people with whom there might be some relevance.
