Yeah, that's right. It's all about guns, not about mental illness, or society that is violence prone. None of that ever has anything to do with this. For a smart guy, you sure only know how to sing one note loudly.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

What I'm saying is that the variable known as semiautomatic weapons and other variety of big gun should be controlled more easily.

There 357 Million guns in the States. You really believe those are going away any time soon?

The mass shooting in Las Vegas on Oct. 1 has officially been deemed the deadliest in American history, but tragic events like this one have become all too common. At this point, according to Vox, there are more guns than people in the United States,…

This story may end up being a situation like John Birges and Harvey's in South Lake. It's looking like it may line up that way, sans any ransom attempt.

The Harvey's Resort Hotel bombing took place on August 26–27, 1980, when three men planted an elaborately booby trapped bomb containing 1,000 pounds (450*kg) of dynamite at Harvey's Resort Hotel (now "Harveys") in Stateline, Nevada, United States. The mastermind behind the bomb, former millionaire John Birges, was attempting to extort $3 million ($8.7 million today) from the casino, claiming he had lost $750,000 ($2.2 million today) gambling there.

Utah guns purchased by shooter in Vegas.

Maybe not surprising. He probably traveled all over building his arsenal:

A St. George gun shop owner says he recently sold a shotgun to the man who killed more than 50 people and injured more than 500 at a Las Vegas concert late Sunday.

                    That's going to happen.

Instead, you authoritarians who want the government to dictate every step of your life, should probably just wait it out. The percentage who enjoy hunting, shooting and responsible activities will probably decline with this do nothing Millennial generation to a point where they may hand them over.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                              Unfortunately, I agree with you.

At least a generation is an understatement. There are so many guns out there now - I'm not sure how long it would take to rein all of that in. And, in the meantime, the political climate would erupt as I have NO doubt that the law abiding folks would turn in their guns much more quickly than the criminals - with the potential for some pretty good violent crime jumps if there is any validity at all to the concept of citizen gun owner self-defense being a deterrent to would be criminals.

The Victims Fund has erupted like that $1.95 MM already.
