  • If he puts in some bootlicker (which I’m guessing he will) it is a big deal.

We won’t be able to trust any numbers. We are North Korea at that point. The information released will be laughed at.

Of course he will. Can you think of a competent and ethical pick he's appointed so far?

Looks like I'm out of the loop. Who did he fire now?

A couple of senators have gotten behind him, but they might just as well bang their heads against a brick wall.

Anorher example that underscores that the ideology behind the actions is immigration is bad, foreigners of any kind are undesirable, so let's find or invent any possible justification for getting as many out of here as possible. Throwing out a legal immigrant who has been here for decades over a minor brush with the law many years ago which was settled in the legal system for a long time is total crap. Most Americans are not so anti-foreigner but the ones currently driving the policy clearly are.

Something else related to this I found:

The Trump administration is apprehending hundreds of immigrants every day across the country – but there’s a stark split in where Immigration and Customs Enforcement makes those arrests in blue states and red states.

In states that voted for President Donald Trump, ICE agents are far more likely to arrest immigrants directly from prisons and jails, a CNN analysis of data from the agency found.

In Democratic-leaning states, by contrast, ICE is frequently arresting immigrants from worksites, streets and mass roundups that have sparked protests and intense backlash in cities such as Los Angeles. Most of those arrested don’t have any criminal record.

It's functionally what they are. There's talk of taking proactively taking extremists into the ICE ranks.

                        • Ok, I get that this guy was not here legally, but does removing people like this and breaking up a family really going to make America better?

Also the media coverage of all of this is interesting. Fox almost only reports on the worst criminals being detained and deported. They don't report on people like this. Only a minority of the deportations have been of violent criminals.

Vance is such an insincere ghoul. This administration is an actual secret combination. If Maxwell was to get pardoned, that would be yet another example of a scandal that should bring an administration down, but it won't.

Certain parts of the Constitution suddenly disappeared on the Library of Congress site. It was a "coding error' the funny part is what disappeared was all stuff this President doesn't like.
