Wearing masks, changing license plates on their vehicles, not wearing uniforms, refusing to identify themselves, pointing guns at innocent bystanders? I don't believe all of those reports either. I'm fine with them wearing masks as they are doing a tough job and the threat of doxing, SWATing, and harm is very real.

I'm also fine with vetting social media. Many corporations insist on it as part of their hiring process.

I have a cousing that is an ICE agent in Florida. He's a great guy, a fine father, and is a devout member of the church.

Have they shipped a few of them by mistake? Probably. Do the mistakes number in the hundreds? I doubt it. They are using social to exclude and gatekeep individuals who criticize MAGA and Trump.
Previous admins didn't do this. The approach to immigration is about stopping minorities from coming here.

Step 1: take a legal immigrant, or one that's here under protected status. Step 2: revoke the status under bullshit pretenses. Step 3: proclaim to the world that this person is a criminal (they aren't) and an illegal immigrant. Step 4: Shaka is now okay with the deportation.

And if the person is pregnant and faces complications because the ICE "detention" facility can't handle medical care or if the staff sexually assaults the detainees? Bonus points.

I agree that the threat of doxing, SWATing, etc. is very real. But I don't agree that ICE agents should be able to wear masks. Not only does that unnecessarily add to the image of ICE as the gestapo (this is not a statement of equivalence), it is a consequence of the individuals' choices to work for ICE. They know they are responsible for a difficult job of detaining and perhaps deporting people, which will make a certain segment of the population very upset. But those actions are taking place in PUBLIC by PUBLIC employees. Hell, you can't even keep your government salary data private from the public. If ICE has a hard time finding people who want to enact their policies because the consequences of those policies have angered the populace and your current employees want to hide from what they are hired to do, well, welcome to the world you've built, MAGA.

I don't have a MAGA worldview. I'm somewhere in the middle you dolt. I'm not a big fan of how they are going about finding illegals. However, with the exception of the Dreamers, I'm all for kicking out the illegals that flooded the country under Biden.

I'm also pro-immigration for those who want to come in the right way.
