In a seminar on the Cabinet taught by Ed Firmage fifty years ago, my favorite story was when an LBJ cabinet meeting began with a prayer offered by Bill Moyers who sitting at the end of the table. A few seconds into the prayer, LBJ bellowed, "Bill, speak up, I can't hear you!," to which Moyers replied quietly, "I wasn't talking to you."
I was privileged to take one of Ed Firmage's classes in in my time at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

          That's crazy.
I was finishing up my undergrad there at the time.

What I have come to expect is that no matter the level or trivial item, there will be mocking. I find it ironic in comparison to previous Presidency’s. And in response, the mockery of the Cabinet meeting has now shifted from mocking to they are irrelevant. The pendulum swings so far each direction, my neck is twisted in so many ways.

I am sure if he had them and removed any press, we will see bitching about that too.

The point is simple, he hold public meetings. So what. Who gives a fuck. Again, there are much bigger issues which are serious that I can concur and agree hpob. But when it is petty shit like this.

i guess we can go back to Biden who rarely held Cabinet meetings, let alone meetings behind closed doors with his cabinet. Which never happened.

2 things can be true Brock. Biden was a bad president who was actively kept from the public eye in an attempt to fool the country. And Trump is a terrible president who looks for any televised opportunity to show how eager his sycophantic cabinet is to kiss his ass.

Corruption and abuse of the pardon power by Biden was plain for everyone to see. Crazy that MAGA now turns a blind eye to naked corruption at every level of this administration.

                  Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

It's like a SNL bit, but real.

Not sure about turning a blind eye. However, there was similar turning of blind eyes for Biden’s time. Soo.

He doesn't hold public meetings, he holds public worship sessions. Have you ever watched these cabinet meetings? Have you watched ANY cabinet meetings of any president?

Your point about there being much bigger issues is well-taken. Why in the world are we pulling away from their jobs the most important people in the U.S. government so they can tell President Trump about how wonderful HE is and how no one else could have done anything. All while Trump snoozes...

There are so many incredibly important things going on in the world, why is Trump (and you, apparently) so concerned with petty shit like this?

Yes, LET ALL OUR EYES BE BLIND TO CORRUPTION!

No. I have not, nor do I care too. As I said, this is low on a list of things that really matter. This is a publicity stunt and he is going to do what he does as will his cabinet members.

As for, “Let’s ALL turn a blind eye to corruption.”. Exactly. The hypocrisy for one sided corruption is my point. As for things Trump is doing. There are things I can agree and others I do not.

one thing is for certain. During Biden’s time, my 401K was losing tons of money from his shitty policies. In one quarter, I have had one of the largest gain since last time he was in office. Now.. THAT I can get behind..

I'm no finance guy, but my retirement account grew during Biden's term. It tracked with the stock market, which grew at a nice pace the last year of his presidency.

Is your 401k strategy sound? Might want to talk to Moliere about it.
