So how soon before you get deported?

So why aren’t American doctors leaving in droves to go to Canada?

Tell me you've never endured a Calgary or Montreal winter without telling me you've never endured a Calgary or Montreal winter...

In our neck of paradise, out of ~30 pathologists I can count at least 5 US docs. In Vancouver on the mainland there's more. BC is uniquely positioned to poach US docs. Mild climate and despite the higher taxes compensation is decent. If that's not enough, the siren call of medicare for all lures the true believers . And well, you know, Canadian nice is nice.

I don't know about other specialties but I assume BC actively pursues them as well, especially family practice docs.

Ha! Calgary might have the 2nd best winter of all the major cities in Canada (Vancouver being tops), but yeah, it isn't great. Slightly worse than Rexburg, ID.

I might take a Calgary winter over a Houston summer Let me know if you need any accountants up there!

I've had a couple of blessed chinooks in Calgary winters. But the first time I went there it was minus 35. MINUS 35!!!!. I didn't know that -40 Celsius is the same as -40 Fahrenheit until that cursed winter!

Another “Too weak” timeline, this time for decision on Iran/Israel. He ought to mix it up, he’s getting too predictable. Throw in a “fortnight” or “half a month” to keep people guessing.

LOL! The report I heard was that they would prefer to use secession talks to leverage changes in parliament, but if that was ineffective, then they would simply secede into their own country. Joining the USA was the 3rd option.

                        That is actually incredibly disappointing.

I am not saying I believe he is right. And certainly he is a politician first. I do believe the evidence leaves substantial room for doubt.

Oh, by the way, you know that pair of flag poles that are taking up space on the WH lawns? 88 feet high. Why 88? No particular reason, I'm sure.

Do they have 14 ft signs somewhere else. Remaining military forts after confederate generals is horrid.
