  • lol, Trump comes out strong throwing blame at everyone.

The one restriction he has the power to lift is his rallies. I hope he lifts that soon so he can gather those supporters and he can vent at them directly.

Edit: Whew, we go those ventilators.

Edit: Ha, he's going to "authorize" the governors to act.

    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

    • One of the old dudes in my neighborhood who is a huge Trump supporter just posted a video on Facebook of Trump going off on a reporter.

It starts with an intro of "In a rare sight of anger, Trump loses it on a rude CBS reporter."

Rare sight of anger - Trump loses it.

He is going off again on a reporter today... great entertainment.

Entertainment value is the one thing the Trump presidency has going for it. Unfortunately, the personal economic consequences of his presidency make it not so entertaining for me.

Really? Maybe two years ago, but it's so boring anymore that we too often miss the truly horrible.

I believe that is called narcissistic personality disorder.

A disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self-importance.
Narcissistic personality disorder is found more commonly in men. The cause is unknown but likely involves a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
Symptoms include an excessive need for admiration, disregard for others' feelings, an inability to handle any criticism, and a sense of entitlement.
The disorder needs to be diagnosed by a professional. Treatment involves talk therapy.
              I'm not a professional.

              • This is my favorite President Trump story yet.

On a Saturday in early March, Donald J. Trump, clad in a baseball cap, strode into the Situation Room for a meeting with the coronavirus task force. He didn’t stop by the group’s daily meetings often, but he had an idea he was eager to share: He wanted to start a White House talk radio show.

At the time, the virus was rapidly spreading across the country, and Mr. Trump would soon announce a ban on European travel. A talk radio show, Mr. Trump excitedly explained, would allow him to quell Americans’ fears and answer their questions about the pandemic directly, according to three White House officials who heard the pitch. There would be no screening, he said, just an open line for people to call and engage one-on-one with the president.

But that Saturday, almost as suddenly as he proposed it, the president outlined one reason he would not be moving forward with it: He did not want to compete with Rush Limbaugh.

No one in the room was sure how to respond, two of the officials said. Someone suggested hosting the show in the mornings or on weekends, to steer clear of the conservative radio host’s schedule. But Mr. Trump shook his head, saying he envisioned his show as two hours a day, every day. And were it not for Mr. Limbaugh, and the risk of encroaching on his territory, he reiterated, he would do it.

His aides should totally set this up. Give him a two hour radio show, only don't actually broadcast it. Just set up a fake studio and have plants call in.

I was under the impression presidents were busy. 2 hours per day? Man I would tune in to hear that. But I wonder how long I could take it. Probably not long.

Ridiculous they can't just pass an extension on this. A nice clean bill that gives small businesses the money they need.

                              • I read last night that Trump has a 93% approval rating with republicans. I'm a lifelong republican and I just don't get it. He has to be one of the 5 worst presidents ever and his performance during the pandemic has only solidified that.
