Yes. I think Rasmussen himself predicted a Romney victory because all the other polls were wrong and needed to be "unskewed."Originally posted by BlueK View PostIf I remember right, Rasmussen predicted a Romney victory and Republicans were hanging their hats on it going into election night when all the others correctly predicted Obama would win.

Didn't Rasmussen do the best in predicting that Drumpf was going to win in 2016? Rasmussen and Frank were right.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostRasmussen is one of the LEAST accurate pollers.

In fact, his approval rating among registered voters nationally reached a new high at 44% in an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Monday.

Correct. Rasmussen tends to run a little higher for the Republican candidate.Originally posted by BlueK View PostIf I remember right, Rasmussen predicted a Romney victory and Republicans were hanging their hats on it going into election night when all the others correctly predicted Obama would win."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Note that they found that Trump's approval was 6 points lower than Rasmussen did (not an insignificant difference). Trends are more important in approval rating polls than actual numbers, and it looks like Trump is trending up. Rasmussen is still a bad poller, based on the totality of the evidence.

I remember Glenn Beck making the conspiracy theory that Obama planned on running for a third and fourth term and that he and his followers wouldn’t concede. It is hilarious.Originally posted by frank ryan View PostHilarious, it’s lol when the POTUS jokes about being a dictator. He’s such a kidder. He’s got a decent chance at reelection. This concerned me, especially with it coming from the GOP.

He's just kidding/not serious/couldn't get away with it anyway/who cares/actually it would be great if this is true....blah,blah,blah. -- I think that's the general republican response to this.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostThis should be much more concerning than Trump's idiotic (and yes racist) tweets:

The Democrats want him to confirms that he would've charged Trump for obstruction if her were allowed, rather than allude to it. The republicans want to prop up the persecution of Trump theory.Originally posted by BlueK View Postthe democrats are mostly just reading from the report and asking yes/no questions.
The republicans are mostly giving speech-like questions.
Mueller desparately wants to remain tight-lipped and not moved beyond what's exactly in his report.

I haven't read Mueller's report, and I'm not a lawyer, but some of the quotes from it are very damning. If they're accurate and in context, and they appear to be, I think Trump should be impeached. We all trust our own unorthodoxies.

One thing that is funny is whenever the Republicans appear to get frustrated when he won't comment beyond the report, which is exactly what the Republican attorney general very clearly demanded from him in that letter that just came out when it said he is not allowed to say anything that isn't in the report or comment on any aspect of the investigation, etc. LOL.Originally posted by Sleeping in EQ View PostI think Mueller comes across as well-qualified and reasonable; as exactly the sort of person to entrust with such a difficult task.
