Well to clarify their political reporting I hate, not them personally. I really like everyone on here. However I realize I am not in the political group with most on here. Hopefully I am not hated because of it.
I do owe an apology to BlueK
Politics is a function of family history, personal predilection, geography and emotions. You can't go wrong there.

Huge applause for Don Lemon tonight. Starting watching and watched full 2 hours. I think he leans left, but he was a very fair moderator. Discussed Trunp policies not on his character flaws or comparing him to Hitler.
Again it was worthwhile for me.
2 hours though on Friday night. I need to get a life.

Who cares? Clinton still got the popular vote by 2 mil.
800k is a much higher number than I would have guessed, though. I have been firmly on the side of voter fraud being so unimportant that it doesn't merit attention. 800k is enough to make me question my position.

Check out that confidence interval of their estimate. Not confidence inspiring.

The West Bank Barrier Wall built between 2000-2003.
Why not build the wall along the established Israel/West Bank border? That would have been defensible. This was just another brazen land/resource grab under the guise of security. 9.5% of the West Bank land was annexed. Yes, there have been some security benefits, but they would have had the same security benefits building the wall on established borders.
It's clear those deviations into the West Bank were to extend security to Jewish settlements located in the West Bank near the Green Line. Those settlements lie within Area C, over which Israel was given jurisdiction under the Oslo agreements, and most people expect those settlements will become part of greater Israel under a negotiated Two State solution. Israel already controlled that land, and it represents only a portion of the 63% of Area C land in the West Bank that Israel controls. The security benefits were significant and are not disputed.

That is only partially true. There is no question that the route captured extensive Palestinian properties/farms/etc. There is a reason that every international court or organization has condemned the wall.
Making the settlements permanent is a pretty weak justification. The settlements themselves are a clear violation of international law. If you are going to annex territory, you make the people in the territory full citizens. The Israelis are evicting Palestinians from the best spots in the west bank and annexing the land. And the settlements get bigger every year. It is a slow, incremental form of ethnic cleansing.

That's cool. Checks and balances. I was just talking to my son about this in connection with his citizenship in the nation merit badge!
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

No, it's wholly true. Those properties (not relatively extensive) were already located in the Area C and fully under Israeli administrative control. Those deviations were taken to provide security to settlements in Area C already under Israeli control and administration.

I make no justification. I agree with this point in principle. I've simply said that the walls/fences were built to provide security for Greenline Israel and settlements. It and other measures are working.
