I am still 80% convinced that all this crowd and voting fraud stuff has to do with Trump's overinflated ego or his insecure nature or both.

20% goes to the thought that maybe this is diversion. I channel surf and basically all I get from CNN is talk about this. In the meantime they are missing out harping on reporting on his cabinet picks, his executive orders, his Supreme Court choice, etc.

At least it looks like this board has moved on this morning to his immigration moves.

I agree that it feeds his ego but is also done to divert attention from other matters. It is so easily disputed by the news agencies falling over themselves to prove him wrong that they no longer have time to dispute weightier matters, or at least it moves the weightier disputes down the page.

Yes, but it's fun to see the lefties scream bloody murder at anything Trump does. They are turning into what the conservatives became under Obama. They scream and cry at everything and pretty soon, when something big and credible does come along, people are so tired of hearing them cry about stupid stuff that no one takes them seriously.

That's exactly the problem, though. Trump IS enacting his promises. He is doing pretty much what he said he would do. This is a surprise because it rarely happens like this. But no one should be surprised that he is being boorish, insensitive, wrongheaded, petty and embarrassing, becasue that is exactly what he is, exactly how he has always behaved, and exactly how he acted and promised to keep acting during his campaign.

I was unclear becasue you had posted about several issues previously.

As to the gag order, it is not at all surprising. First, this is the sort of thing most new administrations have done from time to time. Second, it should also not be a surprise that he is doing this to the EPA when he appoints a guy who has made a career out of suing the EPA to be its leader. I am sure the gag order is to allow them to implement their vision of the EPA without a bunch of mid-level bureaucrats bleating about it to the press. I dont see this as anti-science; it is very much a policy move. The policy is to eviscerate the EPA. In this context I am not sure the EPA gag order is that big of a deal.
