You can see why this is SOP. New administration, new message. Like it or not, he is the head the executive branch and has responsibility for all of these agencies. Of course he wants a unified message that he wants to drive. What president wouldn't want that?

I am not a Trump guy, but I am willing to give him a chance. All of the outrage over his every living move is going to have the "boy who cried wolf" effect.

Now this is dumb and a waste of taxpayer money.
Good... maybe this will turn up actual proof how the Ruskies hacked this election and made Trump the president.

So let's assume for a moment that illegals are voting. What can be done about it? I don't think that Voter ID laws would help that much. For example in many states (including Utah) illegals can get driver licenses.

      • Yeah, I am sure it is nothing. After all, Trump has a long track record of being measured and reasonable.

Way to avoid the actual issue you were paranoid about.

Come on, angryjapanesedude. You can't respond to everything I post even when not directed at you and then claim I am the one with the obsession. Let it go, buddy.

Yes, but it's fun to see the lefties scream bloody murder at anything Trump does. They are turning into what the conservatives became under Obama. They scream and cry at everything and pretty soon, when something big and credible does come along, people are so tired of hearing them cry about stupid stuff that no one takes them seriously.

Logical fallacies, just aren't your thing are they? Where did I claim anything about you having an obsession? You come out very concerned about Trump's "gag" order and then some points were made concerning how this could be a reasonable approach for a new administration to take, then true to form you move the goal post and claim that the reason you are concerned is because some close to Trump report that he can't get over personal slights.

I respond with a comment that you were avoiding the original issue and, true to form, you come back with a personal insult. You claimed that I was the one who always made things a pissing match, but I suppose that was merely you projecting.

So now I will just wait here as you come back again with another personal insult or some pic you deem to be funny all the while never really even attempting to address an actual claim you made. It's cool.

Stories like this one are extremely concerning:

                              http://www.freep.com/story/news/loca...tein/95570866/
Extremely concerning? I understand the need to ensure polling integrity, but that kind of error is statistically insignificant, so I'm not that concerned about those kind of regretfully inevitable accounting issues in a system run by unpaid volunteers who do this a few hours each year. Indeed, if my math is correct (and granted, I'm a lawyer so there's that caveat), and if (i) all of those mysterious votes were truly fraudulent or at least improper, (ii) similar discrepancies occurred in every single precinct in the United States, (iii) were voted in favor of Hillary, and (iv) were then eliminated from the vote totals, Drumpf would still have lost the popular vote by more than 2.5 million votes and the electoral college vote would have remained unchanged.

I'll be interested in the outcome but I'm not even mildly concerned. My problem with Drumpf's (thus far) totally unfounded allegations of fraud is that it aids our enemies in deriding American claims of democracy and virtue, and that unless an investigation vindicates his allegations and declares him the popular vote winner, he won't publicly acknowledge he was wrong and nothing will change. At least the investigation will create additional jobs!

So if nearly 800 more votes cast that voters registered isn't concerning because of the statistical insignificance of those votes, why should anyone ever vote. If nearly 800 votes don't count why would 1? I have heard all of the rhetoric on this issue around it being a exercise of a right and so on and so forth, but under that logic why aren't you also encouraging everyone to own a gun?

In actuality I think your second paragraph highlights why I this type of concern would rise to the extremely concerning level to me. It isn't so much that 800 votes will swing the election, but that it makes a mockery of having a representative republic wherein we elect those who are to represent us.
