The stakes are way to high for my comfort level, but from a pure politics-as-theater perspective, the next few months are going to be off the charts.

Agreed. I sit somewhere in the middle of the left in mourning and the right supporting Trump and find it amusing that both sides are still completely talking past one another. My concern though is that this seems to be a powder keg and that real violence may result. I, in know way, want to see that.
That would be a good SOS. Also good olive branch by the Don towards a religious subculture that dislikes him by putting an insufferable asshole who also happens to be the grandson of a fine Oakley, ID former apostle and son of our wealthiest tribesman in the most crucial Cabinet position- a position for which he will do a fabulous job and keep a great tan.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I think he is a Democrat but agree he would be a great pick
I don't think he is a Democrat, but he is an elite and yearns like you yearn for the HC to go away to run in elite circles. He is 100% wanker, personally, but he understands the value and merit of economic development and free trade. If that is his approach in being SOS then I can live with his stupid daughter on MSNBC screaming out "look at me" and generations of Huntsmens inflicted with their uncontrollable addiction to attention buying up better "selfie-sticks" than I can afford.

That could also keep him from moving back to Utah to run for Hatch's seat if Hatch keeps his promise this time.

I think Huntsman would also make a good Senator. It would not bother me to see him as Senator from Utah. He still needs to punched repeatedly in the face but he would be a fine Senator, IMO.
