Some of the documents contain absurd redactions. For example, in the batch today, some court records and pleadings were included. it appears that the initials S.D. and N.Y. were both redacted. This caused some raised eyebrows when it was apparent that citations of cases located in the Southern District of New York redacted. So, either they used find-and-redact tools/LLM and no live person oversaw the work, or the people who did the work were incompetent and/or redacting maliciously. I'm near 100% certain that there's nothing in the Epstein files that proves or convincingly indicates Trump was a pedophile.

If that information existed, I kind of think that the Garland justice department would have used that instead of investigating him for tax fraud, election interference, Stormy Daniels coverup, and mishandling classified information. That would have been a much better strategy.

There are plenty of democratic names in those files, chiefly Bill Clinton that could've discouraged them from being released. I don't think Jack Smith had anything to do with those and Garland moved at a snail's pace with the cases against Trump.

Clinton has thrown down the gauntlet and said to release all the files. That doesn't really work for Trump, because if all the files are released, he can't smear the Clintons with innuendo and implied impropriety. People can just look at the files and know Trump's lying. Again.

As for the reason they weren't moved on by the DOJ before 2025? Maxwell wasn't convicted until mid-2022, and her appeal wasn't denied by the circuit court until September 2024.

That's funny, I use Adobe acrobat to redact files all the time and it works very well. Unless the redactor doesn't know how to use the redaction tool. Which sounds like Trump's DOJ.

Yep. And for those organizations that work 4 tens like us, they got yesterday (instead of Friday) and today off. That's on top of the half day off last Thursday the general gave everyone, which turned into simply a holiday party for a few hours.

So I think I'm going to cancel our year end inventory we've been working on the last couple of weeks. We are already short staffed and in a hiring freeze.

Yesterday I was literally the only person working. Active duty soldiers can only have up to a 5 day pass. Today thru Sunday is five days, so that is the max unless I want to burn my own leave, which I would have had I forseen canceling the inventory.
