    A real clown show.

So I'm hearing they are going to visit the NATO base manned primarily by US Space Force.

NPR was able to find plenty of people both for and against association with the U.S. I don't doubt that there is strong anti-American sentiment, but its not zero.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

RFK is a pretty terrible pick. I think there has been an increase in autism diagnoses because it is increasingly better understood and diagnosed. The vaccine conspiracy is such a load of horseshit.

            • I'm not an attorney but play one on TV. My understanding is that the Department of State decides whether a student visa is revoked, and their decision is not subject to judicial review. If she violated the terms of her visa then her status is in jeopardy. It's been reported she is one of the campus pro-Palestine leaders and has connections to, or at least supports Hamas. Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization so public support by someone only holding a student visa probably isn't wise.

My view is that if you are on a student visa, have extreme positions on Palestine and support Hamas, sew discord on campus, and have anti-semitic views (which a lot of these activists have), then you should probably study in a country that better reflects your politics.

The same reason DEA officers sometimes wear masks when busting druggies. They don't want their officers to be identified and doxed which can put their loved ones and themselves in danger.

Here is an oped Rozturk wrote in 2024. Although we don't know if this is what put her on ICE's radar (since in this dystopian world they are not required to say why they detained her), it certainly would track with the other stories of detentions. Go ahead and find the Hamas support in it:

I don't think she should be deported just because she is an anti-semitic idiot.

calling a phd student an idiot because you were wrong on what she said is.........pretty ironic man.

you dont have to defend things just because trump does it. why dont you back up your anti semitic and hamas claims? one person deported supported hamas so anyone arrested mustve supported hamas, hmm do you think that is good logic?
