Yes they can. That Hillary sever was horrible and showed how corrupt and entitled she and her team were. We don't know the extent of Signal and other unsecure social media platform usage by this Trump Clown Show, so it is difficult to gauge the extent of damage and possible exposure. What is irritating is that that convo was set to expire and get deleted in 7 days, a gross violation of the law and totally lost to all of us. They are doing this on purpose to avoid any transparency and scrutiny.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

From what we know, the Hillary gang was much much worse than this singular instance. But is it just that? And I have no doubt that they will continue to use Signal for their business. They'll just more careful on who they invite into their chats.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

So, of course this was always going to get worse. But it is surprising just how quickly it is doing that. Der Spiegel found private data by the clowns in question:
https://www.spiegel.de/international...3-10b705521fb7Private contact details of the most important security advisers to U.S. President Donald Trump can be found on the internet. DER SPIEGEL reporters were able to find mobile phone numbers, email addresses and even some passwords belonging to the top officials.
To do so, the reporters used commercial people search engines along with hacked customer data that has been published on the web. Those affected by the leaks include National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Most of these numbers and email addresses are apparently still in use, with some of them linked to profiles on social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. They were used to create Dropbox accounts and profiles in apps that track running data. There are also WhatsApp profiles for the respective phone numbers and even Signal accounts in some cases."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."
"You are an intemperate, unscientific poster who makes light of very serious matters.”

That's the other security-related issue publicized about the Trumplicans today. Wired found that Mike Waltz's Venmo friend list was still public. Want to know who his tailor is? A real estate agent? Several doctors? All there. Or at least, it was, until Wired reached out to him and he turned off the public option. Very Security-minded, this NSA.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostSo, of course this was always going to get worse. But it is surprising just how quickly it is doing that. The reason Hillary set up her private server was because USG cyber security measures were too cumbersome to use. I've seen innumerable tweets from MAGAbots arguing the same thing, that these important people shouldn't be required to go into the office or SKIFs to carry out classified business, that it is only natural for them to use Signal and other social media platforms. The Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, hell, even the Israelis are counting on this lazy amateur-hour short-cutting. Do we think DOGE is using these security measures? Bad actors are having a field day.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

I think they're both uniquely bad. Hillary's was a deliberate, systematic, long-term violation of security protocols. It's unclear whether use of Signal by government officials in and of itself constitutes a breach of security protocol, but its use in this instance was absolutely wreckless. This was bad and I think at a minimum Hegseth and whoever added Goldberg should be terminated.Originally posted by frank ryan View Post
These were war plans. This administration leaks like a sieve , including our adversaries.
How were Hillary's significantly worse?

Much like the explanation regarding the JD Vance Humps His Couch group chat, this is impossible to do accidentally. You have to go into the group settings to change it to disappearing messages and then choose a time frame. 1 day, 7 days, 1 month, 1 year, etc.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post

We are wildly unpopular. This is embarrassing. Maybe they don't want to talk to the demur wife of a guy who was talked about the legitimacy of invading their country by force.Originally posted by myboynoah View Postlol

Between this kind of stuff, the DOGE recklessness and boundary-violating, and Trump's big mouth when talking to tough guys, our infosec has to be comedically bad.Originally posted by YOhio View Post
