Imagine a president of the US losing an election then summoning a violent mob on the US Capitol intent on killing the vice president and others with the purpose of preventing the transfer of power to a new president. Yeah, that could never happen.

I don't understand how you come to the conclusion soft power isn't working. What do you base that on? Trump has been disrupting that for a reason. He has set us back probably decades, and you can ask MBN, .

This board is full of people talking about how China is taking us behind the woodshed in terms of influence in Africa and South America. I thougth soft power was supposed to give us influence in those areas but maybe I'm wrong.
