Does she really believe in anything? Seems to me her positions are always politically calibrated to exploit a seam. Too bad for her she underestimated Sanders. She should have run as a moderate.

I don't know if I'd say "always", and I also don't see political "flexibility", I'll call it, as the same problem that most do, I guess. We're voting for people to represent us, right?

I do think Warren is much less likable than her supporters believe and also profoundly dishonest. When she tried to put some meat on the bones of bernies nutty ideas she instantly dropped in the polls because the math doesnt work. So her "I have a plan for that" approach would probably tank in a general election. Unless she decides to change her ideology again and go back to embracing the free market.

I'm honestly curious why you think this. I know that's probably too impossibly vague to answer, but every time I listen to her, I'm surprised at how likable she is. Was there anything specific, or just a general sense kind of thing?

I just think she comes off as fake. Of course, many of the politicians do at this point. But she comes off as staged and fake to me. Probably too much carry over from her "let's have a beer" post from a while back. Throw in the known dishonesty with the sense of staged fakeness, and she's about as likeable as Hillary was.

She's not elected yet. But, yes, I prefer naked ambition to an ideologue.

Her dishonesty is what makes her so unlikable to me. But I suppose she could appear likable if you are not familiar with her work before she got into politics.

The exit polling data from Mass shows that even Warren's home state doesn't care for her that much.

She's just plain unpleasant. The type of person who warns you against salting your food before tasting it, even though she doesn't even know you.
