I don't know if I'd say "always", and I also don't see political "flexibility", I'll call it, as the same problem that most do, I guess. We're voting for people to represent us, right? At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I'm honestly curious why you think this. I know that's probably too impossibly vague to answer, but every time I listen to her, I'm surprised at how likable she is. Was there anything specific, or just a general sense kind of thing?Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostI do think Warren is much less likable than her supporters believe and also profoundly dishonest. When she tried to put some meat on the bones of bernies nutty ideas she instantly dropped in the polls because the math doesnt work. So her "I have a plan for that" approach would probably tank in a general election. Unless she decides to change her ideology again and go back to embracing the free market.

Ha! Exactly what I was thinking - but much better stated.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostIf it weren't for her dishonesty and her ridiculous economic policies, she would be a decent candidate.
I just think she comes off as fake. Of course, many of the politicians do at this point. But she comes off as staged and fake to me. Probably too much carry over from her "let's have a beer" post from a while back. Throw in the known dishonesty with the sense of staged fakeness, and she's about as likeable as Hillary was.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostI'm honestly curious why you think this. When Warren discusses issues and policies, she is articulate and seems very intelligent. I can see why people like her. But this is partly what drives me crazy. She knows good and damn well that some of her policies are fantasies and she pushes them anyway.Originally posted by Eddie View PostHa! Exactly what I was thinking - but much better stated.

She's not elected yet. But, yes, I prefer naked ambition to an ideologue.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostI don't know if I'd say "always", and I also don't see political "flexibility", I'll call it, as the same problem that most do, I guess. Lol. Yes. Like the time she said she'd only appoint a Sec of Education only after interview and approval by a transgendered youth. There's pandering and then there's that.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostWhen Warren discusses issues and policies, she is articulate and seems very intelligent. I still can't get over how old all the legitimate candidates are. Sanders, Biden, Bloomberg, and Warren would all the oldest presidents ever elected. Trump is also old AF. It's like America wants the White House to smell like Listerine and mothballs with presidential branded rock candy.

Yeah, and don't forget the heady scent of Ben-Gay and cheap hair spray. it's sad, SAD!, that every remaining major candidate is older than I am.Originally posted by YOhio View PostI still can't get over how old all the legitimate candidates are. Virginia and North Carolina called very early for Biden, suggesting a big margin of victory. Biden should score a lot early, but could be less rosy as the results move Westward into Bernie country.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Her dishonesty is what makes her so unlikable to me. But I suppose she could appear likable if you are not familiar with her work before she got into politics.Originally posted by ERCougar View PostI'm honestly curious why you think this. The exit polling data from Mass shows that even Warren's home state doesn't care for her that much.
She's just plain unpleasant. The type of person who warns you against salting your food before tasting it, even though she doesn't even know you.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
