For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

It will be interesting to see to what extent Trump's tweets and his bot farm lead the cheers for Bernie tonight.
Biden seems to have gotten a little bit of a bump after S. Carolina. The California poll is interesting because while it shows Bernie winning, it is close with Biden, Warren and Bloomberg all above the threshold to claim delegates. If Bernie doesn't clean up in CA, and Biden wins in several states it's likely Sanders won't have the most delegates after today.

I’ve been pestered with text messages from the various campaigns, all expect Biden. It’ll be interesting to see how he does in Utah.

Obviously I'll vote early and enthusiastically for whomever lands on the ticket, but Warren is the only one whose platform has resonated at all with me. Bernie has said some encouraging things, Biden has too, I guess-- although I feel like he's playing it extra safe and that's not too reassuring. I need someone who will come out swinging in the debates and campaign intelligently and tirelessly until November. Unfortunately I would only trust Warren to do that, too...Originally posted by frank ryan View PostI’ve been pestered with text messages from the various campaigns, all expect Biden. A bernie vs trump campaign would be amazing to watch. But the downside of a Bernie nomination is too great. Not only would trump get a landslide victory but the democrats would permanently reset around the extreme left. Neither of those are good for america.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostI would be thrilled to see Biden over Bernie, but part of me would love to see a Bernie vs. Trump debate.

I also wonder to what extent time zones affect things. Two of the key states to close earliest in the evening are Virginia and N. Carolina at 7 ET. If Biden comes out strong in both of those, does it help him in western states that will have their polls open for 3 more hours?

Pocahontas would get her butt kicked. No one likes her or her policies. Go Mike! or Go Joe! Both would be fine presidents, the bar is so low at this point. Bloomberg v Trump would be very entertaining.Originally posted by Commando View PostObviously I'll vote early and enthusiastically for whomever lands on the ticket, but Warren is the only one whose platform has resonated at all with me. You realize that's a bigoted term, right? And uh... what about Trump makes you think he could articulate anything about anything? You think he's going to really sting her about the cancer that windmills produce? If Warren made Bloomberg look like a child, you think Trump stands a chance?Originally posted by wapiti View PostPocahontas would get her butt kicked. No one likes her or her policies.
