To a person, each of my acquaintances discussed that Castro only did things that benefitted Castro.

The education initiative was put into place to brain wash kids from a very young age. Starving kids would be asked to put their heads on their desk and pray for food. They’d raise their heads and there would be no food. They then would be instructed to put their heads down again and pray to Castro for food. The teacher would walk around placing a small treat on each desk and then tell them to raise their heads. The teacher would tell the class that God doesn’t love them. Only Castro loves them. Only Castro can provide for them. That kind of thing starts with 4/5 year olds and goes on throughout their lives.

So yes, Castro created significant increase in literacy, but he controlled what they could read and utilized the school system for evil. I want to like Sanders but this type of double and triple down on Castro really makes question his intelligence.
You want to like Sanders? Do you dislike the economy? Sanders is like an old tea bag, steeped in ideology. He has nothing to offer except weak recitations of provably disastrous ideas that he has repeated so many times he cannot say anything else. He would be a disaster.
    PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I just meant that I want someone who is a viable option to Trump. Sanders today is in the drivers seat to win the nomination. I want to like whoever wins the nomination. I dislike Trump that much. Sanders proving in many ways he’s not that guy for me.

LOL... I am sorry that I missed this:

It looked like it was great entertainment.

        I wonder who won.

According to the latest polls in S. Carolina Biden is again pushing ahead of Sanders. If Biden wins comfortably enough it will be interesting to see what effect that may have on Super Tuesday. Sanders can survive by not winning in SC, but I think most believe he'd be in an almost insurmountable position next Tuesday if he comfortably won in SC. That's no longer appearing to be what will happen there, but who knows.

I agree. I never thought the prospect of a Biden win would excite me as it does now.

I feel almost as passionate about stopping Warren. I just watched a video of her defending her student loan forgiveness plan. Some navy vet was asking why he would have to pay off other people's loans when he did military service to pay for his schooling. Her response? All that money in the hands of people would stimulate the economy. I can't believe there are so many people dumb enough to fall for this.

The worst part of it, for me, is that she is NOT that stupid. She's smart and she knows she is being misleading and disingenuous and she doesn't care.

I think you can fear a Bernie presidency and his policies but find him infinitely more sincere and authentic than Warren, and most other contenders. I still haven’t sent in my ballot. I want my vote go to whom has the best chance of winning.

I ended up some list and I’m getting constant text from campaign volunteers to vote or volunteer for their people. I’m hearing far more from Bloomberg and Sanders than anyone else. I get text multiple times a day, but I haven’t gotten one from Biden’s campaign.

Ok. When President Bernie guts the US economy we will all take satisfaction from the knowledge that he was sincere and authentic while doing so.

Dude, I’m not trying to convince to approve of Bernie. I mentioned that in comparison to Warren who I find less likeable. Sheesh
