This reads too much like a progressive fever dream. I'm skeptical this happened in this way.

Yeah, here's one report saying that the story is "100% False," and that the Chief never asked anyone to mask up (nor did Gorsuch refuse any such request).

Supreme Court sources and a law clerk for Justice Neil Gorsuch have both disputed a viral NPR report that claimed the conservative justice refused to wear a mask on the bench despite requests from Justice Sonia Sotomayor to do so.

This is why lawyers can be so lame. Semantics games.

Roberts asks them to mask. Gorsuch refuses. Sotomayor conducts business from her chamber. Joint statement that says Sotomayor didn’t asks Gorsuch to wear a mask. Gorsuch good Christian again!

In fairness, this is not why lawyers can be so lame. There are many, many better reasons why lawyers are so lame.

Did anyone see the picture that went out with the story showing all of them wearing masks except for Gorsuch? Definitely looked a little odd.

Chief Justice John Roberts said he has not mandated masks for justices in the courtroom, contradicting a report that Justice Neil Gorsuch refused Roberts' directive during in-person arguments. https://t.co/KxBrFpqE1t

So what is the verdict? Good Christian or not?

Well - if you read the comments, apparently he's an asshole because he knows Sotomayor has diabetes and is more susceptible to serious COVID symptoms and refuses to wear a mask for her. So - it really doesn't matter if Roberts or Sotomayor did or didn't ask him to, he should've been wearing one anyway. Definitely not Christian.

Reading the comments, I also learned that Roberts will do anything to protect the right wing judges on the court and is lying about not requesting they wear masks to cover for Gorsuch. So now not only is Gorsuch not Christian, but apparently Roberts isn't either.

The PBS report is still not debunked!!

Liberals so want this to be true in the face of irrefutable evidence that it isn’t.

Steven Breyer announces that he will retire, giving Biden the chance to nominate a liberal replacement.
