Apparently the shortlist includes Ketanji Brown Jackson and Leondra Kruger. Biden made a campaign promise that his first nomination (if he had the chance) would be an African American woman.
Apparently, Jackson is the more progressive of the two so I assume she gets the nomination. I doubt there will be any Dem resistance and certainly a couple of GOP senators will vote to co firm as well.Comment
