He is anti-war, anti-big tech, and anti- two-party system. So maybe he would have done something about these by now.

On immigration, Caption Commando's favorite subject, he would have kept building Drumpf's wall (but maybe actually gotten Mexico to pay for it). Bernie is a lot smarter that Grandpa Joe and realizes that we can't have an open border because he doesn't have enough free stuff for everyone.

Let me just go ahead and reiterate the thing I posted that sat there for about three days before you posted your question: he would have gotten rid of Trump's refugee cap, which is the lowest the U.S. has ever had it. There is no excuse-- that's the number of refugees a white supremacist regime would set. And Biden's keeping it.

You said that Bernie would continue to build trump's white power wall, which is not supported by your (super recent, 2-year-old)article. Do I need to link that for you, or can you manage to look up like 2 posts? "Admits there's a serious crisis at the border" that's funny. I mean there is an uptick because of seasonal migration and also the tall task of untangling Trump's clusterfuck, but the numbers now don't even approach Trump's 2019 pre-covid numbers. Yet I didn't see Ted Cruz and Lyndsay Graham in deer hunter cosplay fishing for photo ops on a flatbottom on the Rio Grande then, did I? Notice it's mainly Trump-loyal CBP + the GQP hall of fame going full court press on tv to get that narrative out to box themselves out some Conservative Space (after the 1/6 debacle) for midterms in '22.

I'm not sure what you're arguing at this point, and I'm not sure you know either-- you are setting up little Joe Biden strawmen here and there to punch at, but point out to me here where I was out here defending Biden. Refugees, not to be confused with asylum seekers (*cough cough, Ted) are people that have fled their countries and are abroad in refugee camps and vetted by the UN, then by the U.S. Department of State before they are given refugee status and then are brought to the U.S. (such as Syrian or Somalian war refugees) and are usually around 100,000+ a year.

They are distributed by the U.N. among the countries willing to take them-- (the U.S. has historically taken a good percentage until Trump decided that foreigners were vermin.) They are vetted six ways from Sunday before they are brought in, at which point they are settled by various non-profit organizations. For example, here in Phoenix there is the Somali Association of Arizona, which provides services to refugees, including English classes, cultural integration, employment placement, etc. In fact, the LDS Church provides resources to organizations like this, too. There really isn't a government resettlement program in place that micromanages anything-- it's done mostly through non-profits. The U.S. government spends a pittance on refugees compared to what it throws at, say, ICE detention and removal, private prisons, or the useless monolith to white nationalism on the border.

So no- we don't really 'pay to support all these people.' They tend to work and support us.

Mitch McConell's comments yesterday I think can be reasonably interpreted to mean it's the Republican position now to never again allow a vote to confirm a democrat president's Supreme Court nominees when they can prevent it. Sure, that won't bolster the dems' idea of stacking the court when they get the chance.
