You want to pay $40 for a pizza? Ukraine exports an absolute ton of wheat. Yes, the US accounts for around 15% of the world's exports, but if production from Russia (#1) and Ukraine (#5) drops significantly because of Putin's desire to conquer, expect to see wheat prices shoot up (more than they have in the last few months). Wheat prices go up, and with them, the staples of the US diet. Bread, flour, pasta, carbohydrates, even "grain-fed" beef. That's right, Ted. Russia attacks Ukraine, and you should expect to find steaks a little harder to come by, even in Texas. Is that enough incentive to do what we can to check Putin's aggression?

I am already paying like a $100 to fill up my tank. $40 for a pizza sounds about right.

wait, I thought he was laughing at us for suggesting his hundreds of thousands on the border weren't just there for fun and games. It was all lies, right? Then after several days of trying to get the Ukrainians to hit back in the East he figured, what the hell, let's just go in.

Yep, the Russians are invading just like they did to Georgia in 2008 (under the Bush Jr administration) and Crimea in 2014 (after Obama told the Russians to wait after the election when he had more flexibility). Nothing new to see here. Russia will be rewarded with more domestic gas pipelines being shutdown by Biden and more oil purchased from the large oil producer.
