I think a well equipped army will be able to advance. I'm hoping that this winter will be very kind to the Ukrainians.

NUSA DUA, Indonesia, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday dismissed a news agency report that he had been taken to hospital with a heart condition, scolding Western journalists for what he cast as false reporting.

Associated Press, citing Indonesian officials, said Lavrov had been taken to hospital after arriving on the island of Bali for a Group of 20 summit. AP said Lavrov, 72, had been treated for a heart condition.

"This, of course, is the height of fakery," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

        • Do yall remember when Putin visited his frontline troops or the newly "liberated" cities that they captured early in the war?

          Zelensky in Kherson yesterday.

          • This video is one of many different videos that soldiers are taking as they roll past this repeatedly run-over Russian cadaver. The poor bastard has become part of the ground at this point.
Shows dead body, but, not really either.

            • I looked up that t-shirt that Lavrov is wearing, out of curiosity. Here's a video of him "not at the hospital." https://t.me/AnAmericanWhoSupportsUkraine/128

The shirt is from Jean-Michel Basquiat, an Africa-American artist born in New York to a Haitian-immigrant father and a Nuyorican mother. He died in 1988 of a heroin overdose, but his art has only gotten more popular in the intervening years. He was a favorite of Warhol. RobinFinderson had the only oblique mention of him in CUF history, talking about the director of a film about his life: https://www.cougarstadium.com/forum/...fly#post108843.

His work reminds me of a pastiche of these artists:
              • African fetish masks
              • Pablo Picasso
              • Joan Miró
              • Keith Haring
              • Maurice de Vlaminck's Fauvist work

It's a little fascinating that Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation and bad-guy in every spy movie ever, is seen sitting in a not-hospital sporting a t-shirt with the name and art of an American artist, noticeably wearing an AMERICAN AppleWatch, and trying to act like all is well, all is well.

Likely the debris of two missiles that Ukraine ADA shot down.

There was a center for the basketball team in my cadet company at West Point who was two years ahead of me. He was 7' tall. He branched ADA. I thought they could just put him on a knoll and give him a shotgun and yell "pull!" Finally good to see them no good duck hunters doing some good out there.

Poland has convened emergency talks with its Nato allies after two of its citizens were killed by what Warsaw said was a “Russian-made missile” strike in the countryside near Ukraine.

Or they’ve burned through the top-shelf stuff and are now using less-precise missiles. I think the Poland strikes were really close to the Ukraine border.
