Oh, wait, looks like he went on a "40 day Facebook blackout" now... https://www.facebook.com/trestin.meacham
I can't decide if his 40 day blackout was inspired more by his wife or his employer. "Why don't you just stay off Facebook for awhile?"
I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

I don't think it's up to you to decide. Let's just wait until the facts come out.

Of course he was able to warn us about the homosexual supremacist movement: T"his kind of thing happens a lot. The tactics of the homosexual movement are similar to those of other supremacist movements. Since my fast I've met several people who have suffered from attacks of the homosexual supremacist movement. They are the vile evil movement I've ever seen."

Yeah, far more vile and evil than the KKK and white supremacists.

Church Hopes Nation’s Highest Court Will Uphold Traditional Marriage

              SALT LAKE CITY —
In response to news media questions regarding a ruling on marriage laws in Utah decided by the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the following statement:

"The Church has been consistent in its support of marriage between a man and a woman and teaches that all people should be treated with respect. In anticipation that the case will be brought before the U.S. Supreme Court, it is our hope that the nation’s highest court will uphold traditional marriage."

At least they had the honesty Shelby lacked and admitted they were applying heightened scrutiny.

It's hard to imagine a more warped view of history than this one. So warped it gets everything backward. Polygamy is civilized, monogomy is not civiliized, Western Civilization is young. This reminds me of Woody Allen's future in Sleeper where junk food is healthy, but this is a look at the past. This ideological DNA in Mormonism really explains a lot.

My memory is getting terrible. I can't even remember George Q. Cannon being a Prophet. It will be really disheartening if I google him and find out he was one during my lifetime.

A person with same-sex attraction develops thought patterns that become strongholds. It takes consistent teaching, love, and the word of God to bring about transformation. This is a process. In many cases, deep wounds are involved and the behavior is just a reflection of those hurts.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

                            • I was so lacking in self-worth that I retreated to the LGBT community to find acceptance.

                              • David Pruden, executive director of NARTH, the National Association of Research and Therapy of Homosexuality, said, “In the case of individuals with unwanted same-sex attractions, there are typically additional and even associated issues that must be resolved, such as depression or obsessive compulsive disorder. Then the homosexual feelings can be addressed.”
So we're going back to the homosexuality-is-a-mental-illness argument. Excellent.

Does the editorial board at the DesNews understand how tone deaf they are on this one?
