Lol. I thought I might get a reply about that. Actually, I wouldn't consider myself a yankee by any means. I'm only living in these northern parts for school. As a matter of fact, there's a chance I may end up in Texas in a few months from now for work, which is why I took an interest to this thread. I just thought the article was funny.

In that case you should take the time to properly introduce yourself over at Ellis Island. Be sure to mention which state of Texas you might land in.

Texas landed 761 business relocation or expansion projects last year, 270 more than the next closest state, according to an announcement Monday by Site Selection magazine.

The magazine, which awarded Texas its annual Governor’s Cup for topping the list, said 2012 marked the first year any state had surpassed the 700 level since 2005, when Texas attracted 842 such projects.
              [...]

761 isn't bad but we still need to top 2005's number.

Nice showing by Ohio as well...

Texas is still carrying the rest of the members of the south central region on its back...

If not for the fact that it would disrupt the relatively peaceful chaos at my house, I would move to Texas. I'd even think about moving to Ohio.

Citgo's Houston offices fly flags at half-staff to honor Chavez. That's not something right with Texas.

You have to forgive the folks down there in Houston. I am sure they mean well and believe their hearts are in the right place.

Nice try. Citgo is a subsidiary of the Venezuelan oil company PDVSA, and Chavez had much to do with PDVSA (I know this personally). This has nothing to do with Houston other than we have like four Citgo stations that nobody goes to because they are run down and scary.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

That would be great. It's good to know who I can count on down that way.

Not sure how it is down that way, but up here, Citgo is sold at 7-11. I'm a petrol snob and try to avoid buying it at 7-11.
