What a colossal misuse of time. What an unforgivable lack of focus for that position. Fire them all. They're at war. Just because most Americans have forgotten about the tens of thousands of troops putting their life on the line does not excuse the generals leading the effort to treat it like some sabbatical from their teaching stint at the War College.

Maybe this is how the relieve the stress and pressure they are under. You and I post our thoughts on an internet board to relieve stress and they have other ways.

Ike had Kay Summersby, he didn't need to be sending telegrams.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

People that cheat are the lowest of the low and should not be respected.

Maybe not, but surprisingly a large number of them are great leaders.

That's actually not surprising at all.

Think of all the marriages CUF has saved
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I am not a philosopher or psychologist. Why isn't it? I would think Trust would have to be a major trait of a leader.

Great leaders are often dynamic and engaging people who have accumulated significant power and money. Because of this, the leaders have an abundance of admirers who are interested in engaging with them in the act of reproduction. This temptation is everpresent and though some have done a masterful job of rebuffing temptation, others have found themselves in a situation when their weaker side prevailed. Then there are others who actually seek to become leaders only so they can find as many partners as possible in a short period of time. Sad, but true.

                          1. Women are attracted to leaders
                          and
                          2. Leaders tend to have money

IOW, great leaders happen to have more opportunity, therefore are much more likely to cheat.

You and YOhio are right and make sense.

In my life I have had 1) and 2), but since I never took advantage of it, I never became a "great" leader, just average.

It's not the man's fault. Women prey after rich and powerful men like ants on a cheese puff. In all honesty, the only reason a good reason I've never cheated on my wife is not because of a powerful shield of righteousness around me, it's because no woman has ever looked at me and thought "oh... now he's desirable." How's that for honesty.

Actually, that's a miserable reason for never having cheated on your wife. "Honey, nobody but you ever wanted to do it with me!" Intercourse, not fellatio of course. Fellatio you would have oddly rejected.
