Why would you marry her in the first place?

When a couple gets married their looks are generally on par with each other but they don't always age the same. It may not be right but I know I'm shallow enough that I would have a hard time if my wife was 45 and looked 60.

                  ...

Until the last few decades, extramarital affairs wouldn't have put a crimp in the careers of high-profile men, Baker said. It's only recently that men have been subject to the consequences of infidelity. And, of course, monogamy is often a lofty ideal.

"The human race has had thousands of years of problems with monogamy," Farley said. "The problems have not been resolved."

I don't recall her. She was a plebe when I was a soph and then she was a senior when I was a junior post mission.

After reading about her, her maiden name was Kranz. Also after seeing her Prom Queen picture I remember her as a serious workout fiend. I recall thinking she was kind of goofy looking but had an attractive figure. But in full disclosure cadet uniforms aren't exactly flattering. I do recall she was either a company commander or a battalion XO, some position where she was in front during parades, her senior year, I remember she was really uncoordinated and goofy looking marching in parades- not that that is bad as I was probably worse at marching.

Sad stuff. As my pops used to say: keep the dork at the dock!

The piggishness is plently evident. No need to create a firestorm.

That's why I didn't say anything when you said she was dumb.

But when your wife is 60 she may look 60, like the General's wife. You've got a 60 year old man having an affair wiht a 40 year old woman. You see a pic of his 60 year old wife and you say no wonder. It's not an intelligent comment regardless of one's level of tolerance for extramarital affairs. Really, it's a pretty empty headed comment, never mind piggish.

I'm just saying, when you have a lady going after you and she is 20 years younger than your wife and honestly more attractive (I'm not saying his wife is ugly, just not as attractive) and you are spending more time with the younger, more attractive woman, things are bound to happen.

This is also another nail in Sooners "humans were born monogamous" coffin.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Put yourself in a situation where you are spending hundreds of hours alone with an attractive younger woman while apart from spouses and what else could possibly happen? You can't fight thousands and thousands of years of evolutionary selection.

Seems like sex would be practically inevitable in those circumstances-- we are biologically programmed that way. If you don't want to have an extramarital affair why on earth put yourself in that situation?

Are they at Mardi Gras? And if so, how did she get those beads?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
