He was scheduled to testify on Benghazi next week in the Senate or House. Now he won't because he's no longer CIA Director, though there's no real reason he couldn't still testify. Sounds like an excuse. Something is fishy.

The FBI agents didn't like how it all went down:

FBI agents on the case were aware that such a decision had been made to hold off on forcing him out until after the election and were outraged.

This whole thing is strange. I find it difficult to believe the affair was unknown until now. Sounds like it started when he was in Afghanistan and ended it after he was D/CIA. Did this not come in the background check when he went to the CIA? Now details are coming out that she sent harassing emails to people on Petreaus's gmail contact list and he might have sent her tons of "take me back" emails after they broke up. Not to mention the interesting timing of it all. Weird stuff.
