Pshaw... Trump says crap like that every day.

We agree on something. At least the Clinton gang are smart enough to say stupid things and lie in private e-mails not in public.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

LOL, I happen to be watching Morning Joe while getting ready for work.

They were talking about the leaks and how the latest ones were beneficial. The leaks were showing that the people Hillary surrounds herself with are very smart people. These people knew it was wrong to have her own server and were going to do damage control.

It is amazing what the press passes off as being smart.

              • It's an opinion piece, but highlights the fears many of us have.

                http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/28/opinio...man/index.html

The problem for Trump is that no one can ever find complete agreement, can ever receive constant fealty and admiration. This has been the wish and the downfall of dictators and nations through the ages. Their ashes lay beneath our feet.

Yet here is Trump, consumed with every trivial slight. A man who lacks empathy for the consequences of his actions upon broad swaths of the American public. A man with a fundamental need for conflict and with a remorseless willingness to use the most destructive tools of society towards those with whom he disagrees and who he feels have betrayed him.

Bereft of knowledge, of the empathy that drives and is essential for actual service, Trump is willing to act upon impulse, without knowledge, and is driven by fury. He is a candidate with the potential to bring a democratic republic down with him.

I think Frank Luntz is a tool, but he does provide some insight into the average voter's mind sometimes. I read a Katie Couric interview of him yesterday, and he has tested undecided focus group response to the email controversy. When he shows regular press coverage of the email issue, the groups pretty decisively swing against Hillary. However, when he then shows them Trump speeches about the email scandal, they swing the other way and tend to think the email issue is not important. Another example that Trump is not only a horrible person, but a horrible messenger. If he would have just shut up from the beginning he might be running even with Hillary because she is so awful. I guess we can be grateful he can't be muzzled.

The Evan McMullin black swan dream is still alive!

Too bad the idiot GOP house would screw it up anyway and back Trump.

I think there are a handful of Hamiltonians in the HOuse that would rather see Hillary than a Scumbag like Trump. McMullin is not happening, but I think Hillary is more likely than Trump even if the election were thrown to the house.

The Senate only decides the VP.

And each state gets a single vote in the House, Wyoming counts as much as California. Hillary wouldn't win in the House unless there were a dramatic shift in House races.

Yeah I meant House (fixed it). I still think there are enough house republicans that really don't want Trump. Not a majority by any means but enough to wreck it for him. It would be fun to find out.
