It's never been said with actual results to talk about. Like I said Trump has been riding emotion and zero substance all year. He was way ahead even in Iowa just a couple weeks ago. But when it came time to actually elect someone people got more serious. It's the Howard Dean effect. I'm pretty optimistic. Watching the Rubio 'victory' speech, he has a great looking family. But man, I haven't seen a guy trying to sell a third place finish harder than him. It's kind of embarrassing.

Trajectory is much more important than position this early in the game. Trump is on the way down and in danger of tanking. Cruz is on a steady uptick. But Rubio is surging. If he had finished second he would be the clear "winner" to tonight.
