There would be a meltdown but her inevitable election has been decades in the making so I suppose those who would go bonkers over her have Clinton-hating fatigue. You can only hate somebody for so long before your hating instincts seek out somebody else.

She will end up disliked except for some diehard feminists.

The reason I believe she won't be a good president is that she really doesn't have any other agenda than being President. Lincoln, our model for great President, had a visions for what the country needed and was willing to compromise to preserve the nation. However, if your personal aspiration is merely power, as hers appears to be, you have a much more difficult time looking out for the interests of the nation.

The Quinnipiac poll from yesterday was not good. Between PA, OH and FL over 90% of the people glhold opinions on Hillary. If you split the small portion of undecideds 50-50, Hillary's personal favorability is at 40-60 favorable vs. unfavorable. Her trustworthiness measures are even worse.

Of course, the GOP still needs to nominate a decent candidate not named Bush. Rubio and Kasich definitely yes. Walker maybe. Cruz and Trump hell no. And no one else has a snow ball's chance.
