I'm dead serious and I've been saying it for a while now. And I think his chances of winning are pretty darn good. He's likable and down to earth, but he also earned his chops on the Senate Foreign Relations and Judiciary Cmmtes. Because he has such a long history of saying outrageous, offensive and funny stuff he pretty much gets a pass whenever nonsense crosses his mouth. He's a Dem version of Reagan in the teflon sense. He's a much better general election candidate than Hillary and I think he'll be a much better President than Obama and most of the declared Republicans.

She was thinking that she won't get caught but if she did that she would get away with it.

If she survives this fiasco and gets elected I can't imagine how she's going to work with the IC going forward. It's difficult to overstate how much people who have to live with the clearance regs loathe her right now.

The other thing to consider here is whether Obama feels the same about Biden vs. Hillary in the general. Given how things are going right now and how they went for her in the primaries in 2008, Obama may think the Dems stand a better chance with Biden. To clear the way for Biden, the investigation into Hillary and her server may actually be performed with some sort of normal diligence.
