This is why I'm somewhat enjoying the GOP fiasco, because trump is beating Cruz and all the little Cruz Crew people in my area are going nutso over it.

Yikes, that lady is in charge of the DNC? I feel bad for ever taking politics seriously.

No more Little Marco, no more Lyin Ted, no more whatever he calls Kasich. Then he'll start in on HClinton the same way he did with his repub rivals. It will be red meat for all those who don't care for her (which is a majority of the voters in America). He'll also appeal to all the Bernie voters because their messages have been very similar ("You're getting screwed by the man, free trade has destroyed your lives, the establishment is a bunch of cronies, change from the outside is needed."). HClinton's ties to the "big banks" and her cashing on her celebrity will make great fodder for Trump to make this case. Throw in some crude comments about Bill and the intern and you've got Trump's campaign strategy. I fear it will work.

We need HClinton to get indicted and for Joe to ride in and save the day.
Sorry, there ain't no way a meaningful number of Sanders voters move to the Trump camp.

Cruz, however, could pull off a win in Florida. Florida is closed, it's not a total hillbilly state like the other SEC states, and Cruz has actually been winning states. Trump has been getting killed on people that are deciding in the last week.

Lost in the mix is Illinois and Missouri -- are people assuming both are going to Trump because they're open? Unfortunately, both are also winner take all.

North Carolina is open and proportional. Trump beat Cruz by 10-11 points in Mississippi last night. On Tuesday last week, Trump beat Cruz by 22 points in Alabama. I don't think you can group North Carolina in with those states, it's more similar to Virginia. Rubio did well in Virginia, but his campaign has bottomed out in the last week. Given the trends, I think Cruz will do well in NC and could possibly win.

Cruz has easily run the best campaign of the actual GOP politicians (really, that's not saying much). He's done well allocating his resources effectively, so it will be interesting to see where he focuses his campaigning. I bet he ignores Ohio altogether. Focuses on Florida and North Carolina. But, I've heard some people say that Cruz is supposed to do well in Missouri? Do they say that because of how well Cruz did in Kansas and Oklahoma?
CMBF is CUF's Cruz cheerleader. Why am I not surprised.

            • Sanders and Trump both won Michigan taking the same side on the same issue--anti-free trade and protectionism, which is not far removed from nativism. But Sanders would take us closer to totalitarianism. I'm assuming Trump at least believes in capitalism.

So SeattleUte joins Goatnapper and Venkman as the first three here to come of the closet as Trump supporters. Why am I not surprised?

                  • I think Rubio needs to get out now to give Cruz a chance to stop Trump in Florida and Kasich to beat him in Ohio where every poll has it very close at the moment. If Trump loses those two I think there's a very good chance he misses the 50% delegate mark by the convention.

Excellent question. Amazing how resilient these Trump supporters are. They just keep digging in their heels.

                                He certainly didn't hurt him.
