Indeed. But our fellow citizens who are deaf could not fully comprehend the majesty of Palin in this speech. Until now:

The Palin speech makes me question my political affiliation, I'm not kidding. I can't ever side with the totalitarian SJW mob, but I can't also side with the willfully hickish idiots. The Palin speech was 10 x worse than the Howard Dean scream.

I wish there were an opening for a Jim Webb or Bloomberg type. Neither can make any headway in either party.

Netflix is featuring a Buckley v. Vidal documentary and it seems like their interactions were a harbinger for things to come decades later.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

        • Does anyone want to join me in November in not voting? All of this talk of who would be less bad to vote for is hilarious.

Colbert is the true heir to the Jon Stewart legacy. He is fantastic.

If the Libertarians put up anybody not grossly offensive, I might vote that way rather than voting between Trump and Hillary or Trump and Sanders. [I'd vote for Putin over Hillary, she is that despicable]. Trump is smarter than we give him credit for, as he has tapped into the authoritarianism dynamic that pops up when people are afraid of something. He is just very vile to use that technique.

                    • Third party for me! A meaningless vote in a slam-dunk Republican state, but by golly, I will make my voice heard.

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?" Trump said to laughter at a rally he held at a Christian college in northwest Iowa. "It's like, incredible.”

                            • Michael Bloomberg is supposedly making serious plans to run as an independent.

It's a wacky year and if Hillary and Trump are the candidates, I think Bloomberg could get quite a bit more than Ross Perot in 1992.
