I have never met anyone who supports Trump in real life. But my neighborhood is like the bizarro Provo: lots of people feeling the Bern!Originally posted by byu71 View PostAnyone on here for Trump or Bernie? None of my friends or associates at work like either one. Most here in the office like Kasich. One of the associates likes Hillary. I have a couple of hard core conservatives boys. I am trying to talk them out of supporting Cruz.

That's a great analogy. The media was setting up for a Bernie campaign stop in front of Sylvia's in Harlem when I walked to the train this morning. My wallet only had a dollar in it, but it still felt the Bern.Originally posted by Applejack View PostI have never met anyone who supports Trump in real life. LOL, I did too. I am not part of the rich, but well off enough that all this talk about income equality has got me thinking a bit. So I left a 50% tip this morning at breakfast. It isn't going to be a common occurance though.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostThe media was setting up for a Bernie campaign stop in front of Sylvia's in Harlem when I walked to the train this morning. Rubio is vacating his Senate seat. He'd have to find some other perch to get the necessary experience. It's unlikely that he would accept being a Rep., which really only leaves governor. Rick Scott is in office until 2019 in Florida. Maybe he lands there but I doubt it. A loss here might just be the end of the line for Marco. Best guess is that he lands as a well-compensated Washington lawyer and finishes his days out there. Maybe he takes a shot at governor of Florida later. He's young but once he sees the money from being a partner at one of those firms he may not want to give that up.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostThat's a great analogy. There's that, of course. I guess I could have added that one in thereOriginally posted by All-American View PostOr veep.
In reality, though, that's still a pretty dead-end job. Rubio's career has been marked by a couple of alternating goals: rise politically as fast and as far as possible and make money. I still put my money on him cashing out.

Overheard on the radio that both Christie and Fiorina are dropping out.One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.
Woot
I believe religion has much inherent good and has born many good fruits.

Christie I think announced it last night."Discipleship is not a spectator sport.
