"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."
"It's no secret that the great American pastime is no longer baseball. Now it's sanctimony." -- Guy Periwinkle, The Nix.

I don't think Cruz will implode. He probably won't win the nomination, but he won't implode. All things considered, he's run a very competent campaign. He's fundraised well, handled his media appearances effectively to the point where he's not an afterthought. Cruz is, as Alan Dershowitz says, "off the charts brilliant." The problem for Cruz is his creepy demeanor and his strident brand of conservatism. That's why he's likely not going to win the nomination.
Yeah that's why I said implode or fade. I always assumed Trump and Carson would implode and then Cruz would fade as the field narrowed and the vote consolidated. However as you point out Trump has the longest history of outrageous statements of any candidate I can remember and he continues to add to the list each week. So maybe he is unimplodable. What a weird election cycle.

He's the opposite of Hillary, who has had scandals for some many decades, she's now become the Teflon Donita.
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

The really good news is that unless you live in Ohio or Florida you already know where your electoral votes are going, so you can vote for any candidate and be the same.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Ha, love that book. Read it in sacrament meeting when I was 14.
I actually clipped that picture from his actual website. That is one continuous clip. No photoshopping going on there. Looks like his interns aren't feeling the Bern

So Ben Carson either totally made up or greatly exaggerated this childhood violent temper of his.
As far as doctor-politicians go I would definitely vote for Rand Paul but never for Carson -- he is way too odd and his sensationalized story about violence and religious conversion is so weird.
