Maybe they should just make bullets really really expensive. Like 1000 bucks per bullet.

Would a huge bullet tax be unconstitutional?

I would guess not given one of the more recent rulings. Maybe the government could just outlaw bullets rather than just letting the 1% have them.

I'm OK with you having one or two bullets if you need to defend yourself. I don't think you need 100 of them.

James Holmes doesn't value your opinion very highly. You may want to have a word with him. While you're at it, can you talk to him about the importance of obeying laws? Thanks.

That's the whole point. How many bullets could Holmes have purchased if the cost was 1000 bucks per bullet?

Granted, I've never owned a gun, but I wouldn't shed a tear if the 2nd amendment went away. To me, guns are stupid.

That and having to drive through Northern New Mexico and Colorado (four corners) usually at night. My brother had a knife pulled on him there but once he pulled his gun the man with the knife decided he would just rather run away.

There are some parts of Dallas like Oak Cliff and East Dallas are not nice places to be. Maybe it is just the metal bars on all the windows that makes the place look bad. My wife, however, had to stop for gas in one of these areas once and had a couple of guy come up to her and starting looking inside the car while walking around it. She told them "I'm carrying heat" (pointing at her purse, which she was) and one of them said, "It's cool, I like you". They then walked off and left her alone. Both are true stories.

I don't think guns are stupid... or smart. But I am all for keeping guns out of the hands of the stupid.
