I thought officers could do private work and use their uniforms. Your questions should actually be. Why do Police Departments allow this..

          • I'm not sure how I feel about this. While it's sad that I get the sentiment, which isn't born of nothing, I'm not sure it's fair.

It isn't fair because it isn't an honest portrayal. The police officers in my town don't typically patrol with their riot gear on.

I heard the policeman shout "Drop the Gun". Drop the Gun". Multiple times in that video. This happened yesterday. I would like more information before I comment..

I watched Morning Joe this morning. They had Al Sharpton and the President of the Urban league. They of course condemned the shooting of the cops.

The urban league guy said something about, this just re-emphasizes the grievances AA's have in Ferguson.

Then Joe, Mika and these gentlemen went onto discuss how racist Oklahoma and Alabama are.

I had to go to another channel to find out how the cops were doing.

Saw this last night. Horrible. The cop has already been charged with murder and it seems pretty cut and dried.

If this was not caught on camera do you think it would have been investigated?? I mean, he was shot in the back.

That dude deserves to be charged with murder. HOLY COW...

For a second I was afraid that the dead guy was going to get himself beat up for not complying/resisting arrest. Glad to see the officer use some restraint.
