And did some pretty good damage to that vehicle.. He should've been arrested for that. But they let him go due to the volatile situation. If he was arrested, maybe it would have deterred him. And possibly saved his life. Who knows, but the point of this video is that this is not a lawful action nor peaceful protest. He is being portrayed as this martyr and peaceful protestor. This counters that argument. Some may diminish this but it is just as plain as was his illegal shooting.

In the case of when he was shot. He was not this agitated nor made any aggressive actions and never should've ben shot and hopefully those agents are held accountable. They need to be. This includes even those who celebrated his shooting. They should be immediately fired and I wish that guy was brought to the public-eye..

        • It looks like he was carrying during that first incident, too. Very dumb.

          • Homan says they will draw down ICE/CBP in Minnesota and focus on targeted apprehensions of known violent criminal undocumented immigrants. Sounds like what ICE has been doing all along before all this chaos.

Makes one wonder what the newly hired people are going to do to stay gainfully employed.

Oddly, he said nothing about what they are going to do about all the Somali fraud.
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I hope they are let go. I mean, Trump is not afraid to fire people. Please allow Homan to clean house and get back to the experienced and professional agents.. This is the right move. ICE should not be seen as this mass military group coming into neighborhoods. But allow them to do what they have been doing for decades. This was not a win. It most likely hurt the GOP even moreso and while it is late January.. It will be brought back up in election campaigns..

Sadly, here is another casualty of what is taking place.

Wael Tarabishi, a 30-year-old man with a rare condition, has sadly passed away mere weeks after 'his beloved father, primary caregiver and constant life companion' Maher Tarabishi was taken into ICE custody

During a scheduled annual check-in at the Dallas ICE Field office, Maher, who arrived in the U.S. from Jordan in 1994, was detained and taken into custody at the Blubonnet Detention Facility in Anson, some 200 miles west of Dallas, Texas.

A matter of weeks later, Wael's health declined drastically, which his family have attributed to the extreme stress of the situation. A GoFundMe page set up for the Tarabishi family reads: "Wael's body could no longer handle the stress. We have said before that Maher's daily presence in Wael's life was not optional; rather, it was essential to his survival and well-being."

On November 20, 2025, Wael, who required around-the-clock care, was taken to the hospital with a high fever, where medics diagnosed him with sepsis and pneumonia in both lungs.

Wael returned home one week later but was readmitted in December when his feeding tube came out, and following a second surgery, he became unconscious. Writing on social media, the Tarabishis said: "He passed without his beloved father, primary caregiver and constant life companion, Maher, by his side."

Maher's attorney, Ali Elhorr, told People magazine that the father had entered the US lawfully with a visa, but in 2006, his asylum application was denied and a deportation order was issued.

That same year, after Wael was officially diagnosed, Maher became his primary caretaker and was therefore permitted to remain in the States to look after him.

Mr Elhorr said: "He had check-ins with ICE every year. Never missed a single one. Was never late to one." Maher's daughter-in-law, Shahd Arnaout, says that Maher had taken a folder with him to this latest check-in, filled with evidence detailing Wael's medical needs. Despite this, he was still detained.

Shahd, 25, asserted: "They may not kill Wael with a bullet, but they killed him inside by taking the only person he asked for. Maher was his caregiver, his father, his best friend, his everything."

According to a social media statement, the Tarabishi family recently discovered that Maher's asylum case had been denied, as the attorney who'd filed his original asylum case had been fraudulently practising law without a license. This was revealed during a review of the case carried out at the beginning of Tarabishi's ongoing ICE detention.

              • Gotta love the Irony..

Nine progressive prosecutors from cities around the country are launching a coalition to assist in prosecuting federal law enforcement officers who violate state laws, one of the prosecutors, Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, said on Tuesday.

The organization, which is called the Project for the Fight Against Federal Overreach, will also include Mary Moriarty, the elected prosecutor in Minneapolis. Its acronym, F.A.F.O., references a slang term for negative consequences, and its formation was spurred by “growing concerns about warrantless entries, unlawful detentions, and coercive enforcement tactics by federal agents,” according to a news release.

                  • Although we don't see what the officers did to Pretti before he spat and kicked a taillight, at least those horrific acts support the Administration's (l.e., Trump, Vance, Noem, and Miller--Pee Wee German per Andy Borowitz) assurance that Pretti was a murderous assassin intent on murdering as many officers as possible. Why use the gun you're carrying when you can hock a loogie? Thank heavens the officers put ten (?) bullets in him before his spitting and kicking rampage could do further damage.

This build up in Minnesota was a calculated and purely politically motivated move to try and exploit the Somali fraud situation. But because this administration is populated with actual idiots with awful political (and moral) instincts, it backfired so completely that now Trump is underwater in one of the few areas he was legitimately elected to deal with.

I believe the father was outside the house in ICE custody yelling to her to not open the door, afraid she would be apprehended as well. They had another child who had not yet returned from school and she didn't want to abandon that child. So she stayed put.

Some say the family is in the country legally going though an immigration process. If so, hopefully they can be reunited soon and the little boy can get out of detention and return home and to school.

                        • The voice of sanity right now in the GOP. If the argument is don't exercise your constitutional right in situations where there is likely going to be heated rhetoric, then look in the mirror at all the rallies where guns are encouraged.

Weird that the domestic terrorist intent to inflicting maximum damage on ICE/CBP never used the weapon he was legally entitled to carry to take out vengeance on his attackers. Or at least kick out the left side tail light as well. He was obviously a crazed person pent on violence.

And yes, it is dumb for people to carry around guns (unless they are hunting).

Yep. I wonder now if we will no longer see these surges. They have always been more about Trump/Miller/Noem trying to make a show of force and try to intimidate political opponents. With this humiliating defeat in Minnesota, will they try it again elsewhere? Minnesota showed the successful way to counter these surges, sadly costing two innocent lives.

Does Homan pretty much take over the immigration portfolio? What happens to Noem, and if someone else is doing her job, why is she still employed and enjoying free government housing and a huge budget? If no more surges, what are those newly hired ICE goons going to do? Per below, much of their job is to pick up undocumented immigrants who have completed their prison terms and facilitating their repatriation back to their home countries (lol, ICE has been fraudulently touting those as arrests). I seriously doubt there is enough of that work to occupy all these new hires.
