  • "She is the Love of My Life but has no position in my office." That is one side-step of accountability for her and you to address the issue.. Kinda hard to differentiate her beliefs and yours as the love of your life. Especially on such topics she has expressed some pretty distasteful opinions and likes. Including celebrating Hamas' attack on Israel, that the raping by Hamas is a hoax etc.

      • MAGA minions should compare Mamdani’s Easter post with Trump’s and self-reflect. I’m referring to Trump’s Truth Social post this morning, not the good April 3 White House announcement that Trump likely never read, much less drafted.

Narrator: They did not, in fact, engage in any self-reflection.

          • This reminds me of when Kevin Costner's character in Yellowstone was running for governor and he proposed a similar policy. But that was to keep people out, not really proposed as a viable revenue stream. I've wondered if there have been studies in Utah looking at this kind of policy.

I had to quit watching that show because that Beth character became annoying af and I couldn't tolerate it

You didn't miss much. I enjoyed the ridiculousness of the entire soap opera and the scenery was beautiful, but there weren't too many characters to cheer for.

Exactly this. Most of them were interesting characters, but every single one of them had a fatal character flaw.

                    Isn't that the point.

Yeah but at some point you want to root for somebody to do something other than murder or enact revenge. Just one person! Even the younger brother who was initially sympathetic turned out to be a baddie if I'm recalling correctly.

We got a few episodes in and tapped out. Couldn’t stand any of the characters.

                        • Aren’t these homeowners already paying property taxes?

This all seems like performative nonsense.

I rooted for that wannabe gangsta kid turned cowboy who left and joined the 6666 Ranch. So. Happy Ending for me..

                              • I’ve always been kind of annoyed when New Yorkers act like a bodega is some special unique New York entity. Like the rest of America doesn’t have shitty convenience stores with shady credit card readers, dusty boxes with paper price tag stickers, and grumpy Indians running the place.

So I was just thinking about how funny it is that they enthusiastically elected a socialist who ran on creating public grocery stores. Lol. Quiet admission that bodegas do actually suck.
