BBC indicates the same. I think that is the difference between the Biden effort and this breakthrough. Trump just has a different relationship with those regimes for better and for worse. It appears for better this time around. You know, blind squirrels and nuts and all. This pressure made it somewhat plausible that Hamas would comply with the disarmament terms of the agreement where no one really believed that part of the deal in past proposals. We will see if it actually works as Hamas is already fighting potential rivals in Gaza.
