Ted, MAGA complaining about democrats not questioning political orders is the deification of irony.

Project 2025 is real. One could debate how much of an influence on a Trump administration is could have (I'd say a lot) but its existence isn't really and the involvement of several Trump insiders isn't a matter of debate. I challenge you to read some full length articles on it.

MAGA getting defensive about Project 2025 talk is kind of funny. It was written by a big group of people who have worked for Trump and really like him and who will try to work with him again. It's their wish list of stuff they want Trump to do if he wins and which they will undoubtedly lobby for. Trump trying to distance himself from it only says he realizes they aren't popular ideas with many voters. But these are Trump's extended circle who came up with it and if you don't like the proposals in it, it's totally fair game to bring it up.

Of course, the Dems' platform document seems to only talk about Grandpa Joe. I guess the DNC hasn't mastered the "search and replace" feature.

The platform is just platitudes with a lot of ALL CAPS. Project 2025 is like a road map for doing it. It doesn't contradict what's in there. Commenting on what people who are going to try to be part of Trump's administration are saying and which they have put out there publicly is fair game.

Clinton went way over his time limit yesterday. Still has a huge ego like Trump, it appears.

I like how they are featuring musicians at the DNC. I guess the RNC did that with Lee Greenwood.

I had mixed feelings about the Walz speech. The first part seemed like a complete copy of his first speech after he was picked. The last part with the rah-rah coach talk was fun. Lots of dumb partisan crap in the middle. I will admit that seeing his learning disabled son cheer him on in tears got to me. That was cool.
