Chickensh*t Harris backs out of debate… meanwhile Trump and Vance have been taking interviews:

Did I miss her ever agreeing to it? Trump backed out of the original debate and threw out a bunch of new dates and she never agreed to a Fox debate to my knowledge. As to the rest, you know she'll talk to the press, but when your opponent is out there imploding you let him talk. Check the polls, brother.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostChickensh*t Harris backs out of debate… meanwhile Trump and Vance have been taking interviews:

I don't think she ever agreed--hard to drop out of something you were never in. The Fox debate was Trump's idea after he dropped out of an ABC debate when Harris became the presumptive nominee. The Fox debate was Trump's idea that would have included a full arena audience--ridiculous. Why not a cage match? I think Kamala would kick Fatso's ass.Originally posted by SteelBlue View Post

Of course she didn't agree to that debate. She has totally outmaneuvered the self-proclaimed Deal Artist. She's calling the shotts and he looks weak.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I watched a little of the DNC last night but couldn't stomach it for very long. I am praying that they destroy Trump in the election, but good heavens I don't like these people or their policies."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Wait you mean that MAGA's concern about the Democrats abandoning a democratic process in their primary isn't a sincere concern?Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

I feel like the last month has been a constant gaslighting from both sides, but nothing has thrown me off more than PAC and mbn going full Harris Wine Mom (h/t USUC). I wish I shared their confidence in her.

Ted, your candidate and VP pick is imploding right now:

I'm very confident she'll be multiple times better for the country than Trump.Originally posted by YOhio View Post

Huh? I’ve never been a Harris fan, going back to her Bay Area days, although I’m confident she won’t be nearly as leftist in the Oval Office as people fear. I’d expect her policies to fall inside, albeit toward the left edge, of the Overton Window.Originally posted by YOhio View Post

I’m much more worried about what a Trump second term would look like. I didn’t like his first term but it didn’t end democracy (try though he did) and some elements of his administration were okay by me. But his penchant for the stupid and self-serving were moderated considerably by (i) the utter ineptness of his transition team and the slow start they got off to, and (ii) the tempering influence of the adults in the room (Kelly, Mattis, McMaster, Tillerson, Bolton, [insert the dozens of others who also either resigned or were fired], Pompeo, etc.). Trump has vowed a second term of “vengeance” and he obviously disdains a Team of Rivals approach to administration and wants only loyalists (the Millers, Flynn, Bannon, etc.) who will do his bidding. In his first term Trump learned how better to get what he wants and the next time around he may be like the velociraptor that finally learns how to work a door knob (h/t Matt Lewis).
As noted earlier, Trump won’t end democracy in the U.S., but he likely would in Ukraine and other countries in favor of the autocrats he admires so much.
So yes, I’d take Kamala over Trump Unchained but I won’t vote for either of them.
