I can’t wrap my head around regurgitating MAGA fanboy stuff 24/7 and then voting for someone else. You are one weird dude.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I find it funny that y’all are so anti-trump that you don’t care how bad Harris-Walz are but still willing to vote for them. It’s fun to read how you defend them. Sometimes y’all do a pretty good job. But a lot of the time it’s humorous to watch how the Dems fall all over themselves to defend a ridiculous assertion.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

I’m a Ron Paul libertarian. Bobby Jr is the closest to that this cycle. He is a little crazy but I kind of like him."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU.
"Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek.

Pro tip Ted. If you were to just decrease your catturd/jack pobosiec/lara loomer/etc. etc. tweets by half, your libertarian message would be more palatable. Surely there are serious accounts that aren't blatantly racist or MAGA-loving that could convince us Kamala/America's Dad loving types that they're not as amazing as you think we think they are. If you could remove the scales from our eyes without resorting to mostly false reporting, we might be more receptive to your libertarian gospel.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

Also, there has to be a more serious libertarian choice than RFK Jr. out there. Isn't there? Or is this the same problem with libertarians each and every election?"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

This is objectively false. They want less governemnt in your bedroom, which is commendable, but they are much more interventionist via the regulatory state. You can make the argument that Trump's interventions via government power is more damaging. But it's laughable that Harris wants less governemnt. Government is much more than just culture war issues.Originally posted by Maximus View Post

This is a mischaracterization. Trump is such an unhinged and dangerous lunatic that we hope and pray that he loses. Even to democrats with whom we strongly disagree with on many issues and whom we routinely criticize.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

RFK isn't libertarian and neither are you. One look at RFK's website is a long list of big government fixes and control of the economy. His main complaint about corporations is essentially that the current government doesn't force them to do things he would want. If you want to attach a label to his ideas as explained on his site, "socialist" fits much better. A lot like Bernie Sanders, it seemed like to me.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View Post

trying to strong arm companies to do less internationally etc. is more govt control
I think overall people will be much more free to say or do what they want under harris than trump
maybe the regulatory stuff is less with trump but shrug
heck just add abortion, adoption, IVF, marriage, anything health related
