So Trump is trying out the defense that he has absolute immunity against any legal actions against him, both criminal and civil, and is trying to push that up to the Supreme Court. He is God.

Good NYT podcast about perception on the economy 2-3 days ago. Two main points:
1) They said that inflation drove up prices but it has now stopped but we are stuck with higher prices on things and it will take a while for everyone to adjust to new reality.
2) 40% of young people get 100% of their news from social media - tik tok being one of the main sources. And it is popular for young people to post rants about not being able to afford anything, anger at boomers for having had it easier, etc. The problem is, most of those rants are based on lies, faulty stats/numbers, and a general ignorance of basic finance and economic theory. But it goes viral anyway.
This poll result would tend to back up some of that:

Maybe 5%. But where would that 5% come from? Trump voters? I doubt there are many Trump voters who would consider Cheney. I am a Biden voter (last cycle, if nothing else changes, this cycle too) and I would consider voting for Cheney, except for the fact that doing so would take a vote away from Biden, not Trump.
