Yeah this was a good discussion. It needs to continue to happen through all the levels of the Democratic Party. How did this happen, and how can we prevent it from happening again?

I'm seeing very annoying pushback from progressives about how Tapper et al are completely ignoring all the senility issues with Trump by attacking Biden, especially now that he has aggressive cancer. This is not ignoring Trump's issues. This is highlighting how a handful of people altered the course of US history by hiding significant health issues of the president. It needs to be broadcast until the gravity of it is understood by the whole country. And I say this as someone who really believes that a Biden 2024 win would still probably be better for the country than what we have now. It's still a huge scandal.

I listened to it this morning despite having listened yesterday to Tapper's interview with Terry Gross on Fresh Air. Both were very interesting but the Klein interview was better. It's a very troubling aspect of politics that people who know better will support a lie in the interest of self-advancement and tribalism.

I genuinely hope that this truth and reconciliation process happens and works for the Democratic Party. It didn't even happen for the GOP in 2020 and look where we are. The rise of populism is young men and progressive identitary cohesion of young women is in part do to the elite in each party putting electoral wins at all cost before principles.

That's all for a guy who became a martyr by bitching about the evil liberals on college campuses even though he really never went to college.
