I get that, and if his endorsement would make a difference in swing states, I wish he would. But Harris/Walz, in the abstract, is a very weak ticket. Other than the fact that their election would mean the end of Trump's political career (admittedly, that's a HUGE plus) I can't think of a compelling reason to vote for them. Every vote is mostly just a statement.
They are usually statements that should be made except in extreme circumstances where the statement needs to be no vote because of poor and limited candidates.Comment

My ballot had several items I was interested (propositions, mayor and tax matters) in so of course I voted. But sure, I could have simply abstained on the presidency, and perhaps should have. But I like some of Oliver's positions (e.g., immigration, market-driven economic solutions, etc.) so it was kind of a coin flip. Our senate race is between Adam Schiff (of whom I am not a fan) and Steve Garvey (never), so I did in fact abstain on that one.Originally posted by falafel View PostComment
