For Dems it’s not about policy… it’s who they are told to vote for. They don’t even need primaries. I guess it is easier to not have to think for themselves.
Only in Ted’s and Vance’s world is a ~17 year career in the National Guard open for introducing a conspiracy theory that he somehow correctly predicted the timing of the ever present risk of possible deployment 6 months in the future, and resigned because of it. Or even better, he was always part of the deep state cabal as a high school teacher, and they let him know his number was up in half a year.

Oh I'm sure he knew they were likely headed out the door. Once they got the war going, they starting plugging units in to the rotations ahead of time. The state Adjutant General might have been dragging his feet before he and the governor gave the ok to send that unit.
As a young soldier, I followed current events closely. When the Pentagon would put out numbers, I'd crunch them and see where our battalion fit in. Back in 1999, I figured we had a 1 in 3 chance of heading to Kosovo because of the need for combat engineers to demine. Then the Russians decided they wanted to send in soldiers too, so that upended how many units we were sending. It wasn't until months later that I learned from senior leadership that our battalion was being discussed to go.
Then fast forward a few years to the Iraq War. Our senior leaders didn't tip their hands too much, but told us all to get ready just in case. We never actually got our official orders to mobilize until three days in advance. That was quite the operation loading up all our equipment in a week and heading to Fort Lewis.

Thanks for that Bo. If he was aware of an impending deployment I still can’t get too upset. He did serve for 24 years.

Thanks for that (and for your service!). I'd guess that throughout Walz's time in the military (which included three wars) there were many rumors and hints a call-up might be coming.

Bummer on Kosovo (Not for you). We could have hung out if you had gone in 2000

It’s baffling that President Bone Spurs continues this line of attack. It’s dumb. There’s plenty to attack on policy but Trump is too dumb to do it.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Yes he is. He continues to trample all over the message. We will all now spend another three days discussing this, instead of what the Trump campaign wants the message to be. That's a great thing IMO, but I can hear the campaign folks screaming all the way here in Utah.
No wonder the Harris honeymoon has lasted so long. She's done awesomely, but Trump is helping her out big time.
Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

This helicopter story is hilarious. He is dumb as a stump.
