At this point I'm pretty comfortable with either candidate winning. I dislike both of them immensely, but neither will be as bad as their critics fear. The catastrophizing will continue another four years and in 2028 we'll once again have the most important election of our lifetime.

I concur, although I believe Trump II would be much more likely to extend Trumpism and The Era of Bad Feelings. Vanquish Trump once and for all and it makes the return of conservatism and sanity to the GOP more likely (although regrettably not inevitable).
